The Star, Sydney’s premium events and entertainment destination will showcase its unique event spaces, delicious cuisine, talented chefs and plans for the new Events Centre – which opens early 2013 – at the Australian Business Events Expo, 15-16 August 2012 at stand D20.
The annual show, held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, provides an opportunity for the industry to experience the range of business events that The Star, Sydney’s all-inclusive venue, can cater for.
Teage Ezard of BLACK by ezard and Andy North, Director of Culinary & Casual Dining, The Star will be demonstrating at the Taste kitchen on Thursday 16 August, 10:30am to 11:30am.
The Star’s Sales and Events Team, led by Jakki Temple, Executive Director of Sales, is excited about the opportunity.
“From hosting gala dinners in the lobby of The Darling hotel, to cocktail parties in Marquee or dining with business contacts in the private dining rooms of BLACK, Sokyo or Balla restaurants; our property has such a wide functionality of space and we are excited to share these possibilities with Expo attendees.
“There is no doubt that the opening of our Events Centre early next year will have a major impact on the events industry. Exhibiting at the show provides visitors with a glimpse into the possibilities it affords via visual fly-throughs as well as the chance to register for the upcoming hard hat tours of the site,” said Ms Temple.
The Star will be giving away an exclusive package on the stand, including an overnight stay in one of The Star’s luxurious Penthouses.
