An opportunity to win an accommodation and Hunter Valley indulgence prize worth approximately $2000 will be on offer at the Australian Business Events Expo next week in Sydney.
Hunter Valley Convention Bureau, together with Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley will be exhibiting at the Australian Business Events Expo and invite anyone responsible for organising their organisation’s next conference, meeting or event to visit their stand (B16), collect the Hunter Valley Meeting Planners Guide and have the opportunity to go into the draw to win a generous accommodation and indulgence package in Australia’s oldest wine region for two persons. It includes accommodation, breakfast, dinner, spa treatments, golf, a wine tour and the use of a BMW car to self-drive from Sydney with a $50 petrol voucher.
“ Sydney is the source of by far and away the largest proportion of conference business in the Hunter Valley, accounting for around 60%”, said Ruth Appleby, Business Tourism Marketing Manager at Hunter Valley Convention Bureau. “Crowne Plaza is working with us at ABEE to make sure we are able to inform as many people as possible about the great facilities and services that we have to ensure every event held in the Hunter , is a successful one. The more people that we can get to talk to the better” she said.
“The last 12 months have been very challenging for operators in the Hunter Valley, with the return of the financial crisis in Europe and the increasingly strong Aussie $ certainly having its effects. We are pleased to say that some ‘green shoots’ of growth have been detected in the level of enquiries over the past two months and we hope that is a sign of things to come.” She said.
