MEA is delighted to announce BENCHMARQUE Hospitality & Event Recruitment as the new sponsor for the NSW Mentor program 2012.
The MEA Mentoring Program, now entering its fourth year, offers an effective solution that assists in addressing skills shortages, professional development and attrition within the meetings and events industry.
“This targeted program will continue to deliver a quality approach to greater up-skilling of business events professionals across various sectors, resulting in significant improvement of the industry’s overall competitiveness on the domestic and international stage” said Linda P Gaunt, Chief Executive Officer, Meetings & Events Australia.
15 Mentees will be selected and paired with 15 Mentors from within the various industry sectors over a six month period. Since its inception, the Mentor program has provided an invaluable opportunity for Mentees to benefit from the knowledge and experience of other industry leaders. Past participants have been full of praise for the program.
In collaboration with BENCHMARQUE, the sponsorship provided is a critical component to the MEA Mentoring Program in NSW and its on-going success and will be used to enhance and improve the program outcomes.
