Exhibition & Trade Fairs (ETF), organisers of the Australian Business Events Expo and Sydney’s Event Showcase trade shows, have announced the appointment of Rowan Marchingo to the position of Show Director for both of the flagship events in 2012, and Marion Leddy as National Sales & Marketing Manager for ETF.
Jodie Richmond, CEO of ETF, explained that Marchingo has joined the team at a crucial time in the planning stages of Australian Business Events Expo and Sydney’s Event Showcase and will undertake the management of all show production, format elements and association involvement whilst Ms Richmond continues to lead industry liaison.
Marchingo has extensive experience working in large scale events, having previously worked for a range of high profile companies, like Jack Morton Worldwide. With a background in professional theatre and corporate event production, Marchingo brings a unique perspective to his work.
“We are delighted that Rowan has joined us at this important point in the lead up to both shows. His passion for and history of providing visually striking and memorable experiences will be an invaluable addition to the 2012 shows,” said Ms Richmond.
Marion Leddy has joined the ETF team in the newly created position of National Sales and Marketing Manager. In this strategically appointed role, Leddy will be responsible for sales and marketing team leadership across the expansive business arm, of more than 25 exhibitions worldwide.
Having previously worked for a broad range of world renowned organisations, such as ACP and Fairfax Media, Leddy has, over many years, accumulated extensive experience in Sales and Marketing as well as strong project management and organisational skills.
“Marion is a driven sales and marketing professional. Her relationship management skills and her astute business acumen is a welcome addition to the ETF team,” said Ms Richmond.
“These two appointments are great achievements for ETF. The combined knowledge and experience of these two individuals will strengthen, motivate and seamlessly drive the continual success of ETF and its suite of trade shows – in particular the Australian Business Events Expo and Sydney’s Event Showcase,” said Ms Richmond.
