With new facilities, new rooms and a winning mix of business and pleasure, Hyatt Regency Coolum Golf Resort and Spa has cemented its place as the Sunshine Coast’s leading events destination.

Secluded within 150 hectares of sub-tropical bushland between a white sand beach and the dramatic outcrop of Mt Coolum, the resort offers world-class facilities catering for between 10 and 1200 people – anything from a small team-building event to a major international conference.

New investment at the resort has expanded its choice of venues and enhanced its luxury, while a selection of new conference packages provides the perfect opportunity to stage an event in tropical Queenslandstyle.

The resort is also one ofAustralia’s best locations for family-friendly conferences, with its acclaimedCampHyattkids’ club, the famous PGA Championship Golf Course and the southern hemisphere’s largest spa centre.

Hyatt Regency Coolum recently expanded its range of event venues with its new Dune Beach Club, an outdoor space of more than 644 sqm for dinners, cocktail parties and other corporate events.

With picturesque views of Mt Coolum and direct access to the neighbouring beach, the club features its own swimming pool, terrace and manicured lawns, and can host up to 250 people for banquets or 500 for cocktail parties.

It joins the resort’s existing range of indoor and outdoor venues including the 996 sqm Pavilion for up to 1200 people, a choice of four different banqueting lawns and marquee locations, plus a further eight flexible conference rooms of between 50 and 560 sqm, each with the latest in presentation technology.

Hyatt Regency Coolum has also unveiled a contemporary new look for its popular King Rooms, the latest in a series of stylish refurbishments at the resort.

An initial 40 rooms have been completed, part of an ongoing program that has already seen the upgrade of Golf Villas, Lakefront Villas and the extensive health and beauty facilities of The Spa.  In all, the resort offers 324 guestrooms, including spacious suites and two-bedroom villas designed to make the most of their bushland, golf course or lake-side setting.
