ExpoNet is doing its bit to give back to Australia’s meetings and events industry this month, serving as a platinum sponsor for the MEA 2011 National Conference in Brisbane.
The exhibition and events supplier has donated its services to build the exhibition component of Meetings & Events Australia’s annual conference at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 17-19 April.
ExpoNet will also have its own stand on the exhibition floor, which will feature more than 40 industry leaders including unique venues, speaker bureaus, promotional suppliers, software suppliers, theming and audio visual companies.
“We’ve always recognised the importance of being active members of the meetings and events industry, so we’re delighted to be on board as a sponsor for the MEA 2011 National Conference,” said Jim Delahunty, CEO, ExpoNet.
“This industry has given ExpoNet so much over the years and events such as this provide the opportunity to give something back and support the industry’s future growth and development.”
No stranger to sponsoring industry events, ExpoNet has previously thrown its support behind the Exhibition & Event Association of Australia (EEAA) Awards for Excellence and the EEAA Leaders Forum.
With a conference program designed by the industry for the industry and a packed social program, the MEA 2011 National Conference will give delegates the opportunity to network with industry professionals and hear about the latest issues and developments impacting all aspects of the meetings and events industry.
It will be a busy few days for the team at ExpoNet, who are also a finalist in the Support Services category at the MEA National Awards Night, to be held on 19 April.
