The co-location of RSVP and ABEE in Sydney seemed to work exceptionally well this year with a much freer flow between the exhibitions while both still held onto their separate identities.
The biggest challenge for these exhibitions has been how to deal with live entertainment and that challenge has been met. The ABEE entertainment was smart, sophisticated and not too loud and staged under the biggest chandelier I think I’ve ever seen.
Over in RSVP the entertainment was staged in the last hall along with mostly entertainment related exhibitors around then stage. Much louder but appropriate to the setting.
While some have spoken of merging the two shows maintaining their separate identities is working well.
And what’s with all the ABBA tributes? – I counted three in RSVP and another in ABEE
