This July, Brisbane Marketing is inviting meeting planners and event organisers to experience Brisbane’s effortless events style.
With the launch of the “Effortless” familiarisation campaign, qualified buyers will have the opportunity to spend two days experiencing the depth and diversity of Brisbane’s business events offer.
Building on the “Effortless journey” concept featured in the Bureau’s print advertisements and Unique Venues Guide, the new familiarisation campaign hones in on the experiences and operators that define Brisbane as an easy and effortless business events destination.
Brisbane Marketing Director Convention Bureau, Ms Annabel Sullivan said more than 25 local operators had partnered with the Bureau for the campaign which is expected to attract more than 100 participants across nine famils.
“Our itineraries feature some of Australia’s leading business events operators – such as the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Moreton Hire and Sofitel Brisbane Central – and our famil experience offers a real insight into Brisbane’s unique appeal as a meeting and conference destination,” said Ms Sullivan.
“Along with the business essentials, our itineraries also promise to deliver a fresh perspective on Brisbane.
“Participants can expect anything from yoga classes and Greek dancers, to Kabuki cooking sessions and the glamour of the Gallery of Modern Art’s Valentino exhibition.
“This year we’re also very excited to be adding social media to the mix and encouraging both partners and participants to tweet about their experiences.
“We’ll also be blogging about the famils and uploading photos and feedback on the “Effortless” website.”
